These early concepts - generated primarily in 3D - helped to unlock the visual signature for this post apocalyptic science fiction world.
The Tower was to have served as an iconic landmark in the game, not unlike LOTR's Mount Doom. It was the Dark Place where the Bad Guys came from...
The Mediterranean Sea Floor, littered with abandoned ships... another environment study...

Now this brings back memories...
Woah, amazing job. Shame that the game got canned.
I wonder if there would be a way to publish all these images?
You said there were a ton...Like, how many GBs? :P
And if you're still going to post more and more pictures from this cancelled project...I wonder if it would be possible to post some Alien and Nod things, too, not just environments and GDI stuff. I've been wondering how their infantries (apart from the Scrin Archons) and vehicles all look like.
Thanks! Yes, it was quite a devastating blow to the entire team when the project was canceled.
Re: further "Tiberium" concepts: My intent is to show some "examples of work", considering there is now a 3 year "black hole" in my resume.
The game will never be finished, but this is still proprietary material. I have to exercise a degree of professional etiquette and restraint; it's possible - however unlikely - that EA may one day choose to proceed with the project in some form. It is their prerogative to do with it as they see fit.
I will most likely post some more stuff, but out of consideration for the tremendous opportunity EA afforded me, I feel obliged to constrain things a bit.
Who knows, maybe they'll put out an illustrated book? There is certainly enough material available...
